We are celebrating as "Mary & I" - A Late Bloomer's Quest For Love" has received 1st Prize in Japan in the Feature Film category on November 22nd 2025! We couldn't be more in AWE and want to give Wally Zamwa, the creator from Sweden who is the Heart & Soul of this story, a monumental CONGRATZ!! 

In 2016 HoodLab - World Hemp Agent, was invited to co-produce the Colorado-segment of “Mary & I” to help bring Wally’s story globally. Now It's a wrap. We are so immensely proud of Wally for his drive, for pushing through with sweat & tears, and for sharing his deeply personal story, and for getting his message out to the world. We know It was a wild ride, but as everything that is worthwhile, Its now happening on divine time, as “Mary & I” just touched down in Japan 🌏 

MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Mary & I – A Late Bloomer’s Quest for Love, is a heartfelt documentary and the directorial debut of stand-up comedian and filmmaker Wally Zamwa. The film follows Wally, a young man from Sweden, as he grapples with mental health and feelings of being adrift in life. At the age of 29, he discovers “Mary”, a herb which becomes a turning point in his life and sparks a journey of self-discovery, healing, and purpose. The documentary, told with warmth, wit, and depth, evolves from a search for the truth about the healing properties of cannabis into a decade-long exploration of self-love, ambition, and a fight to challenge Sweden’s strict drug policies. Along the way, Wally travels to various international locations, including Barcelona, Colorado, Toronto, Christiania in Copenhagen, and Amsterdam, capturing how different cultures relate to his “new found love of Mary”, identity, and freedom.
